Pam Williams is an NMC registered general nurse with 27 years experience of working in the NHS, having worked in colorectal surgery, critical care and palliative care before moving on to clinical education and quality improvement and with a particular passion for excellence in end-of-life care.
We at ‘Learn to Care’ strongly believe that well educated staff feel valued by their organisation and help to provide a safe environment for patients and colleagues. Pam has developed education and training resources to support prison healthcare, hospices, nursing homes, residential homes and domiciliary care and has delivered education to hundreds of nursing and care staff working at all levels in the NHS and third sector.
“Supporting the continuing professional development of staff working in health and social care provides an environment of continuing quality improvement and the most positive experience for patients, clients and their families, particularly in relation to palliative and end of life care.”
Qualified as a non-medical prescriber and with an in-depth knowledge of quality standards, Pam Williams teaches a wide variety of knowledge and skills including Core Care Skills for new care staff, Venepuncture, Verification of Expected Death for Nurses, Advance Care Planning and end of life care skills for care staff and nurses.
